Main duties of the job
As a Support Worker, you will join an inclusive and supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with Learning Disabilities and Autism conditions, using your knowledge and skills to help people along their recovery pathway towards leading a valued and fulfilled life. Your day-to-day will include ward rounds, analysing behaviours and adapting care accordingly with colleagues, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene.

The shift pattern is 12.5 hours a day, including nights and weekends.

Location: 89 Ewell Road, Surbiton, Surrey KT6 6AH
You will be working at 89 Ewell Road, a service which provides support for people who may be living with moderate learning disabilities with associated health needs, autism and behaviours. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will offer support to people as part of their care pathway. Your aim will be to encourage individuals to lead a full and valued life, enabling them to live more independently through a programme of active community engagement, developing meaningful social networks and developing robust coping strategies.
