To manage Senior Duty Managers and Duty Managers within designated area whilst on duty. To manage staff and all other resources associated with the services within allocated revenue budgets. To regularly review the performance and effectiveness of each Senior Duty Manager, Duty Manager, coaching and retraining individuals where necessary in order to maintain the quality of Soft FM services in line with the National Standards of Cleanliness in the NHS and the Trust Housekeeping operational procedures. To cover for/represent Soft FM Senior Managers at meetings as required. Responsible for the performance management of the housekeeping services and meeting the set KPIs and service level agreements. Ensure that all additional works are funded by departments and recharged accordingly per month. Ensure that site establishments are appropriately resourced to fulfil the needs of the service in delivering quality, timely and safe services and forward plan for periods of business continuity to ensure bank/ad hoc workers are available. Responsible for management of ad hoc projects as required. Maintain good understanding of available new technologies and techniques relevant to the service.
