The Warriner School is a popular choice for families in the local area for their children with Special Educational Needs, due to the inclusive ethos of the school and the many opportunities that the school offers.
As a consistently oversubscribed, expanding school we are seeking to appoint a Farm Education Officer. Working closely with the Lead Farm Education Officer you will prepare and deliver outdoor educational sessions to groups both within the Multi Academy Trust and outside of it. You will also work with the farm team to organise and represent the farm at events on site. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor learning and raising awareness of environmental issues. A willingness to work outside in all weathers with age groups from toddlers to adults and ensuring sessions are linked to nature and the natural processes.
This post is paid at Salary Grade 7 points 13-17 £28,163-£30,060 pro rata. Actual salary at G7 Point 13 £16,662 working 24hrs over 3 days a week, Weds-Fri, 8.30am-5pm (to include a 30-minute unpaid lunch break) Term Time only plus 3 weeks. Additional 3 weeks to be worked during school holidays. Occasional weekend work required to meet the needs of the business (This will be paid via causal claim)
