As a Support for Learning Assistant at Pearson Whiffin Education, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in a secondary school setting.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for providing individualized support to students, enabling them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
Main Responsibilities:
* Assist students with SEND in academic and extracurricular activities
* Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, teachers, and parents
* Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt curriculum materials as needed
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and participation
Requirements:
* GCSEs or equivalent in English and maths
* Experience working with children with SEND is preferred but not essential
* Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents
* Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
