JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking an accredited psychological therapist to join our growing therapy service. This is an exciting time for MPS as we are establishing ourselves as a national centre of excellence. Responsibilities:
1. Provide consultation, psychological support, training and development to foster carers, residential staff teams, education settings and various organisations.
2. Conduct psychological assessments, formulation and intervention to support children, young people and families.
3. Offer psychological consultation to help understand the presentation and early experiences of children and young people.
4. Assist in the development of the Meadows Psychology Service according to company needs.
5. Contribute to Meadows Psychology Service as a Centre of Excellence in developmental trauma and attachment.
6. Lead collaborative care planning, formal and informal training, and provide reflective practice sessions.
Essential Criteria:
1. Accreditation in therapeutic approach or working towards accreditation.
2. Experience of working with young people with complex presentations (e.g. CLA, LAC, CAMHS, YOT).
3. Further training in therapeutic models relevant for young people (e.g. DDP, CFT, Mentalisation, DBT).
4. Training in Therapeutic Life Story Work or willingness to undertake training in TLSW.
5. Experience of coordinating therapeutic care for children and young people.
6. Ability to apply knowledge of psychological theories to health and social care.
7. Ability to disseminate assessment findings and formulation to a range of audiences.
8. Good organisational skills and ability to work autonomously.
9. Skills in assessment, formulation and intervention, along with evaluating practice and measuring outcomes.
10. Ability to contribute to CLA/LAC reviews and professional meetings, including providing evidence for family law proceedings.

Pay: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
