The Oracle Business Support Analyst is responsible for Oracle 11i, R12, and Cloud front-line business support for the General Ledger and AHCS/Hub modules. The position supports a global team that is responsible for various setups, scheduling, error monitoring/resolution, mappings, regression testing, etc. This is a great opportunity to grow within the business and be exposed to many areas of Finance, IT and Accounting. This position would be ideally be based in Witney, Oxfordshire and working a hybrid working pattern but remote working can also be considered. In this role you will be responsible for Provide quick response to functional user questions/problems for Oracle modules and business applications. Generate and assist with timely help ticket resolution for Oracle modules and business applications. Preserve efficient operation of Oracle modules and business applications through appropriate testing, configuring and patching/upgrading. Support Oracle module and business applications improvement process by prioritizing and addressing functional user concerns through development of appropriate functional and technical solutions. Support rollouts of existing Oracle modules or business applications to other operating units, as well as new Oracle modules or business applications as approved. Support assessment of new Oracle module or business applications under consideration for implementation or purchase. Possess an intermediate understanding of our Oracle modules and business applications functionality, standard programs and reports. Document and analyze required information and data. Prepare requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations. The skills and experience you ideally will have Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, IT or business related field. 3-4 years experience in business analyst/technology related roles. Excellent systems/process orientation with demonstrated critical, analytical thinking, organization and problem solving. 4 years experience in business analyst/technology related roles supporting ERP financial applications such as Oracle.
