There is an exciting opportunity for a staff nurse to join the team on Ward 109, which specializes in the care of patients pre and post-operatively. It is an excellent place to work to develop expert surgical nursing skills and to become part of a hardworking team.
We nurse patients with varied upper and lower gastrointestinal conditions.
As an acute surgical ward, we take a team approach to ensure we can deliver a seamless service to our patients.
Main Duties of the Job
The successful candidate will be required to work in accordance with trust policy and procedures, displaying the UHNM trust values to ensure we provide gold standard service to our patients and their relatives.
There is a requirement to have good communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to embrace teamwork with the nursing team, the wider multidisciplinary team, and specialist nurses who play key roles in our care delivery.
To be a compassionate nurse with good time management and the ability to develop sound clinical judgment to care for patients pre and post-operatively, displaying the necessary clinical knowledge.
