Position Summary
The Associate Engineer reports to the Engineering Manager and is responsible for supporting the successful (safe, on time, with high quality and on budget) delivery of Engineering deliverables in respect to project engineering, FEED/Budgetary and proposals engineering. The position is an entry level engineering role within the overall engineering team. The Associate engineer should meet all required criteria including the following: -

§Explains basic facts, practices, and policies to internal/external parties’ scope/complexity.
Duties & Responsibilities
Functions
ESSENTIAL
§Support the completion of product design, analysis and design validation tests, including reports, calculations, drawings, procedures, etc., requiring creation through the project engineering team.
§Support the umbilical manufacturing process through creation of manufacturing documentation requiring creation through the project engineering team.
§Support the completion of FEED/Budgetary & proposal engineering tasks to allow engineering bid deliverables to be completed.
§Interface and support other functions to enable a successful (safe, on time, with high quality and on budget) delivery of engineering documentation within project engineering, FEED/Budgetary and proposal engineering.
§Consistently display required levels of engagement and a positive `can-do` attitude while consistently supporting Oceaneering culture of Safety, Quality, ongoing learning, and continual improvement.
§Carry out any other duties/tasks/requests in accordance with our business needs.
DESIRED
§Support the execution of Product and/or Process Improvement Projects, as necessary.
§Participate in HSE Awareness – Observation Cards, HSE Safety Suggestions, STOP’s, Safety Teams.
§Effectively use all systems related platforms to manage the fundamentals of the role.

Qualifications
REQUIRED
§An undergraduate college or university degree in a Mechanical or Electrical engineering discipline is required.
§A strong candidate with a non-degree qualification may be considered for this position providing they can demonstrate relevant experience in a similar role.
