Want to be part of a hyper growth, fast paced, global business that is radically changing the decades old delivery universe as we know it? If so, read on, as we’re looking for a Technical Supervisor to join our Deployment team!
Our mission? To switch up the status quo and become the UK’s leading out-of-home business. With a fast-growing network of thousands of smart lockers, hundreds of leading retail partners and the launch of our InPost collection points, we’re bringing freedom to anyone with a parcel.
On our path to transforming e-commerce delivery in the UK, we’re building an unparalleled group of talent that’s hungry to help us disrupt the industry. Our team is packed full of top-notch experts in e-commerce, technology, scale-up growth, sustainability, logistics and supply-chain. We’re a passionate bunch and expectations are high, but we’re team players – collaborating, supporting, and leaving egos at the door.
About the role:
This newly created role will be the focal point for InPost technical knowledge within the deployment (locker installation) team, ensuring quality and safe work across our operations. Your expertise will be pivotal in driving quality growth across our national estate. We have ambitious expansion goals and you'll be at the heart of enabling our teams (internal and contractors) to deliver top quality execution.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Supervise the quality of installed parcel lockers and additional work (electrical/ground) in collaboration with contractors, internal deployment and service teams.
2. Review, develop and manage the InPost UK audit process.
3. Prepare, update, and manage documentation related to quality of deployment and specifications required by InPost.
4. Define the quality characteristics and requirements of installation work.
5. Hire, coach and develop a small team of field-based auditors.
6. Prevent and promptly respond to potential or identified quality issues.
7. Maintain technical deployment documentation.
8. Conduct training for internal teams and contractors.
9. Work cross-functionally with R&D and other departments (UK & Poland) to introduce new services or products to UK market.
What we need from you:
1. Self-Drive: You are enthusiastic with high integrity and focus on the quality execution of tasks. You don't get overwhelmed easily.
2. Natural curiosity: You're innovative and creative in your problem-solving and you constantly search for ways to review, refine and optimise systems and processes.
3. A team player: You're willing to help wherever needed, partnering with co-workers and other departments to solve problems.
4. Bias towards action: You make things happen in a big way by unblocking bottlenecks and navigating ambiguity with logic, collaboration and ingenuity.
5. Excellent stakeholder management: You can build relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders with ease, get buy-in and foster a one team culture.
6. Process driven: You have exceptional organisational skills, you are comfortable dealing with large quantities of data and have a logical way of expressing solutions.
Additional skills required:
1. Electrical qualifications or demonstrable knowledge of British Electrical Standards.
2. Solid understanding of UK regulations.
3. Experience reviewing, building and delivering audit processes.
4. A quality mindset and unwavering commitment to health and safety excellence.
5. Experience working in an operational environment.
6. Natural leadership capabilities.
7. Full drivers license.
In this role you'll be comfortable travelling nationally ~3 days per week (this is likely to reduce over time).
We’d be particularly excited to hear from you if:
We’re looking for people who are ready for a fast-paced environment, get their kicks out of problem solving and can balance getting today's stuff done, whilst building for the future. We’re looking for people with drive and natural curiosity – who want to do things differently. And do them brilliantly.
Perks of the job!
We love to reward our people for the great work they do:
1. Enhanced Annual Leave – 26 Days Plus the Option to Buy Additional Days per year

The InPost process:
We pride ourselves on our candidate experience. We want to make this as straightforward as possible, for you and for us! We will try our best to get back to you within a few days to let you know if we’d like to take you to the first stage. This normally involves a 20-minute chat with our Talent Team. If we both feel the connection, you’ll then go through another one or two stages, depending on the level of the role.
At InPost, we love uniqueness. Our strength is our people. We strive to create an open, equal, inclusive environment in which everyone has the opportunity to flourish and be themselves.
