Job summary The successfully appointed Nurse Assessor will work under the guidance and support of the Band 7 Nurse Assessor Lead(s) to assess individuals for NHS Continuing Healthcare, in line with the National Framework for NHS Continuing Healthcare and NHS Funded Nursing care. This role may involve a combination of First Time CHC or FNC assessments, and CHC and FNC Reviews. We are looking for a dynamic Registered Mental Health Nurse who possesses a good level of knowledge and understanding of the CHC process and the National Framework for Continuing Healthcare, who has experience of working within community Mental Health Services and has a good knowledge of mental health within older adult age groups, and who is passionate about providing comprehensive and well written documentation to clearly demonstrate the needs of our older adult service users.
