EAST:MK Primary Care Network has an exciting opportunity for a pharmacy technician to join our team. The role is offered on a full-time basis, 37.5 hours per week over 5 days, between Monday and Saturday, on a rotation basis across the 4 surgeries - Ashfield Medical Centre, CMK Medical Centre, Milton Keynes Village Practice, and The Grove Surgery that make up the PCN.
The successful candidate will benefit from this unique opportunity to build strong working relationships across our organisation and will be actively involved in how their role evolves over time.
Main duties of the job
The role will involve developing our prescribing systems to ensure safe, effective, and efficient prescribing within the practice and supporting the reception and admin teams with complex medication queries. Other regular tasks will involve supporting the GP partners on prescribing projects and cost/safety audits and actions.

* Experience of working in a primary or urgent care setting.
* Experience of working in a GP practice.
* Knowledge/use of primary care IT systems like SystmOne.
Qualifications
* Qualified and registered pharmacy technician with GPhC.
* Diploma Level 3 or equivalent in Pharmacy Services.
