Internal Sales Representative
Location: Alfreton
Salary: £25,000 per annum + £5,000 OTE (uncapped)

We are looking to recruit an Internal Sales Representative for a well-established manufacturer who specializes in taking building materials direct to end users. The successful candidate will be responsible for hitting predefined sales targets while developing further business across their given region and maintaining and improving current business relationships.
Duties of the Internal Sales Representative:
1. Be proactive in pursuing new sales leads, which are given weekly.
2. Chase any enquiries and respond to all inbound enquiries.
3. Develop opportunities through contractors, developers, and clients.
4. Progress the specification of impending projects, from the initial stages through to order, having full ownership of this process.
5. Ensure the customer database is kept up to date and in order.
6. Accurately report on projects which have been tracked to closure.
The ideal candidate will be resilient, with a persistent and proactive approach. It’s essential that the successful candidate is open to further training and development. Due to the nature of the end clients, it is important to conduct yourself with the highest level of professionalism and credibility. Any knowledge of the construction industry is highly beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided. Having previous experience within a sales environment or a customer-facing role is again not essential but beneficial.
