About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant at Oak Tree School, part of Acorn Education.
* This is a permanent, term-time only position with 42.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8.00am - 4.30pm.
* The salary for this role is £23,693.75 per annum.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of pupils who require additional support to reach their full potential.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, developing relationships with pupils and staff, and supporting the delivery of the curriculum.
You will also be expected to participate in regular team meetings, contribute to the development of new initiatives, and maintain accurate records and reports.

About Us
Oak Tree School is a specialist SEMH provision that provides full-time specialist co-education for up to 135 pupils and young people aged 5 to 18.

Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have GCSE C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths, and be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You will also need to be flexible, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Experience of working with children and young people with complex needs is essential, as is the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
