ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of Fire & Security projects, from inception to completion. This role involves conducting inspections, preparing reports, and collaborating with project teams to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulations.
Review and interpret fire and security plans, specifications, and contracts.
Knowledge of fire and security Standards
Identify and document any defects or non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings and quality assessments.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address quality issues.
Monitor and track the progress of quality assurance activities.
Ensure that all materials and workmanship meet the required standards.
Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and policies.
Provide training and guidance to site personnel on quality standards and best practices.
Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quality management.
Experience of managing and providing expert guidance to a team of fire and security engineers.
In depth knowledge of the industry who will be the point of contact for our industry accreditations.
Proven track record of producing high quality quotations with minimal assistance.
Qualifications:
Professional certification (e.g., RICS, CIOB) is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality surveying or a related role within fire and security.
Strong knowledge of fire and security methods, materials, and regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using quality management software and tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites.
