Job title: Quality Manager
Location: Vitacress Salads, Lower Link Farm (St Marybourne, Andover)
Salary range: £45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience.
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday.
Hours: 40
Contract type: Permanent.

If so, here at Vitacress Salads we have the perfect fresh opportunity for you as our Quality Manager, supporting our Factory functions to deliver the freshest, safest, and most delicious products to our customers with a real focus on quality and sustainability.
As our Quality Manager, you will lead our Quality Function, ensuring that our products meet the highest standard of quality and safety. This role plays a critical part in driving improvements where you will work closely with internal stakeholders on the factory floor to educate and implement improvements in GMP, food safety, and our overall compliance while maintaining an audit-ready facility. You'll also have scope to really influence our customer relationships through proactive product quality management.
Your Key Responsibilities will include:
1. Line management of the QA function within the business
2. Implementing, embedding, and monitoring systems and procedures
3. Ensuring microbiological, water quality, and other necessary food safety testing is conducted to meet customer requirements and support with corrective actions.
4. Managing taste panels, communicating results to the relevant departments, and supporting in the drive to identify and rectify controllable quality issues
5. Supporting with process validations and managing the calibration schedule.
6. Assisting with customer complaints investigations.
7. Supporting and promoting an improved food safety and quality culture
To be successful in this position, you will be passionate about quality and food safety and will have previous experience leading a Quality Team within a food manufacturing setting, either at supervisory or management level. You’ll also be able to work in a flexible manner to support the needs of the business.
This role is being offered on a permanent basis working 40 hours per week Monday – Friday. (Due to the nature of the role, flexibility will be required) based at our Vitacress Salads Site in St Mary Bourne, Andover. We are offering a competitive starting salary of up to £50,000 depending on experience, also offering a wide range of benefits, including an incentive bonus, pension scheme, and further benefits listed below:
