Brief Description
Duration: Perm
Location: This role is based in The Quadrant: MK. This role is a full-time opportunity, flexible working patterns will be considered. There is some travelling required, and a minimum of 2 days a week in the office.
Band & Salary: 3B £46,701 - £52,583 (Subject to experience)

About the role (External)
What does the average day look like?
As a Programme Controls Manager, you will be the central source of information for the Weather Risk Taskforce. Establishing, embedding and ensuring the project teams have effective control processes to support delivery. You will be a key contact for our regional taskforce colleagues and build a collaborative supportive culture across the business. Communication is key, with senior management looking to you to provide accurate reporting on the integrated plan, risks/issues and performance across the team.
You will be working directly with the Programme Manager (programme controls) for the Weather Risk Taskforce and be coordinating regional representatives, project teams and senior management.
1. Educated to degree level or equivalent
2. Project management qualification or evidence of managing complex programmes with significant financial benefit
3. Successful relevant experience and competence of investment, project control systems and change management
4. Knowledge of investment processes and procedures
5. Knowledge and understanding of project and contract management
6. Good financial and commercial awareness
7. Experience of a wide range of communication techniques and stakeholder management
