MDTs discuss and plan care for all patients with a diagnosis of cancer or a suspected cancer. The post-holder will be expected to help prepare, organise, and support MDT meetings to ensure patient pathways are progressed. Main duties of the job The role includes preparing, producing, and distributing lists of patients for discussion at the MDT meeting and capturing accurate data during the MDT, live typing to the patients medical record, and using medical terminology, You will play an important part in tracking the patient journey from the point of GP referral to treatment and be responsible for ensuring that required datasets are collated, and accurately entered, to comply with local and national expectations and standards in terms of the Cancer Outcomes & Services Dataset, Cancer Waiting Times, Chemotherapy and National Audit data.
