Sustainability Communications and Campaigns Manager
£37,600 to £40,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 6A)

We're looking for a Sustainability Communications and Campaigns Manager to join our Ethics, Sustainability and Policy team. We'll look to you to write and support on the creation of a variety of communications internally and externally on all things Ethics, Sustainability and Policy. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive and growing team, and to strengthen your knowledge of this increasingly important area of the business.
What you'll do
* Lead on marketing and communication campaigns with a sustainability message and encourage collaboration and alignment across key stakeholders
* Lead on copywriting and content approvals
* Support in the facilitation and management of relevant governance forums
* Support on protecting Co-op's reputation and difference in media responses
* Research the industry, keeping close to any new policies, activity, news or campaigns and share findings
* Be aware of what our in-house subject matter experts are working on and recognise opportunities to communicate this out to the wider business (and externally where relevant)
* Lead on colleague upskilling through weekly news updates and internal learning opportunities where appropriate
This role would suit people who have
* A passion for Sustainability
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* The ability to build and manage strong working relationships with colleagues at all levels
* Experience of copywriting and content writing
* Experience of leading cross functional working groups
* Great collaboration skills, with the ability to work successfully with internal teams
* The ability to manage their own workload and work to deadlines
