The Building Surveyor's Role
As a Building Surveyor, you will take on a variety of professional services, with a particular focus on party wall matters. You'll work across a diverse range of properties, including residential, commercial, and heritage buildings, offering you an exciting and varied workload.
Key Responsibilities
1. Providing a full range of general practice building surveying services.
2. Delivering party wall services for a variety of projects and clients.
3. Cultivating and maintaining client and stakeholder relationships to ensure successful project outcomes.
4. Offering expert advice and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
The Ideal Building Surveyor Will Have
1. MRICS qualification (preferred but not essential).
2. A RICS-accredited degree in Building Surveying.
3. Extensive party wall experience (essential).
4. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a consultancy environment.
5. Strong communication and client relationship management skills.
6. A proactive and collaborative approach to project delivery.
In Return
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (depending on experience).
28 days annual leave, including extra time off during Christmas and your birthday.
