This role will champion excellence in teaching, learning, and practice standards across all SEN schools, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, promoting innovation, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Developing and implementing a visionary education strategy aligned with the organization's mission and values
• Ensuring all SEN schools achieve or exceed required standards set by Ofsted or relevant inspection bodies
• Leading on curriculum design, quality assurance, and staff development for SEN environments
The ideal candidate will have significant leadership experience in SEN education, preferably at a multi-school or strategic level, with a proven track record of driving improvement in SEN schools or settings. They will possess a deep understanding of SEND legislation, expertise in SEN-specific teaching and therapeutic approaches, and strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. A collaborative and empathetic approach, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, is essential.
