JOB TITLE: ASSET MAINTENANCE PLANNER
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Undertake the generation of high-quality job plans and work packs to allow efficient scheduling, assignment and execution of work.
2. Responsible for identifying permits needed.
3. Ensure compliance with Global Work Management processes and standards within planning activities and monitor the agreed-upon KPIs, taking appropriate actions to close the deviation from target.
4. Responsible for identifying improvement opportunities and basic defect elimination in the day-to-day execution of work.
5. Responsible for ensuring personal competency development tasks are completed.
6. Responsible for maintaining healthy relationships and effective collaboration with other Planners and other teams to improve performance.
7. Responsible for daily backlog management, within their area of responsibility, to clean up and prioritize work
8. Responsible for modifying job plans based on feedback received
9. Responsible for requesting modification or creation of master data such as new materials, new locations, description changes, etc.
10. Responsible for conducting job / field walk-downs for the work
11. Responsible for maintaining job plan libraries and ensuring Job Plans are complete, accurate and easily accessible to all
12. Set and deliver realistic Target Dates for execution of the work
13. Set and deliver realistic Required by Dates for procurement of material and services
14. Ownership in identifying the people, tools, materials, services, and procedures needed for a quality work pack
15. Responsible for expenditure of the R&M budget within delegation of financial authority
16. Responsible for assisting in deploying Global Work Management programs
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
17. Some maintenance technician experience
18. Proven track record demonstrating strong attention to detail
19. Proficient using P6, SAP PM and Microsoft Office
20. Strong interpersonal and influence skills
21. Planning experience required within a maintenance role in the Oil & Gas industry.
22. Appreciation of offshore maintenance practices, procedures and legislation
23. Good working knowledge of a maintenance management system (SAP or, if possible, preferable)
24. Organizational and planning expertise
25. Effective problem-solving and analytical skills
26. Respected, contributory team member able to establish rapport with others
27. good communicator accurately relates information, uses active listening to ensure own understanding, and is comfortable with written, spoken or electronic media
28. Actively demonstrates commitment to higher performance standards

32. experience within a maintenance planning role ( preferred )
33. Has good problem-solving skills, corrective action planning and follow-up
34. Trade certification (preferable)
