Field Sales Engineer, Northern England
£47,000 - £50,000 per annum (OTE £65,000 per annum)

Responsibilities:
1. Managing business (Customers, Projects, turnover, discount) within a defined area.
2. Maintaining and building new customer trading relationships.
3. Growing market share within a geographical area.
4. Working closely with Sales Managers to identify and target new Customers.
5. Developing, maintaining and growing turnovers from existing Customers.
6. Developing and maintaining a project pipeline for your geographical area.
7. Working closely with Sales Managers to deliver annual personal targets.
8. Managing customer queries and complaints.
9. Managing customer debt.
10. Negotiating trading agreements and discount levels with Customers.
11. New product market penetration.
12. Operating within the company financial guidelines.
13. Ensuring the most cost effective and profitable solutions are given to the Customer.
14. Building relationships with both new and existing Customers.
15. Forming relationships with technical staff and Customers to promote efficient use of products.
16. Representing the Sales Team to collaborate with and support other regions.
17. Reporting on business activity.
Skills required:
1. Previous experience selling within the Construction Industry or Civil Engineering.
2. Business Development Experience selling into Rail/Waterworks/Highways/Power Grids.
3. Drive/Ambition.
4. Excellent communication skills and relationship builder.
5. Target driven and goal orientated.
6. Flexible to travel and some overnight stops as required.
