Practice Manager Child Protection and Child in Need Team.
Grade: 5A, £52,805 to £54,543
Working hours: 36 hours per week

An excellent opportunity has arisen to appoint a Practice Manager within our Child Protection/Child in Need Team.
We are on our way to achieving our goal to provide Outstanding support and care to children, families, carers and practitioners across Salford.
The post holder will have at least 5 years post qualifying Social Work experience, have experience of delivering supervision, be able to display and promote Salford’s behaviours and values, whilst demonstrating enthusiasm and passion for protecting children and young people across the city.
Your role will include:
1. Oversight and management of the day-to-day delivery of all aspects of the Social Work team, focusing on the quality and improvement of social work and service delivery.
2. Ensuring the service facilitates effective participation of children, young people, and families, and that their lived experiences inform plans.
3. Responsible for ensuring documentation, record keeping, accounting, and communication is maintained, with effective information strategies and systems in place for appropriate sharing of data and information, including responding to complaints.
4. Regular and effective analysis, monitoring, measurement, and maintenance of the performance of the team to understand impact on outcomes for children and families.
5. Accountability to the Service Manager for staff supervision, care, and development of the team.
