You’ll be responsible for leading a team of Product Managers, overseeing the end-to-end provision and delivery of CK products and services, specifically IP Crypto / Over The Network Keying (OTNK) technology. What you'll be doing:
1. Lead the production of future business cases for the strategy of the future procurement approach and maintain the high-level capability roadmap.
2. Engagement with all impacted networks, as classification dictates, to maintain currency with OTNK progress and to understand their transition plans, device requirements and priorities. Maintain a relationship with the user-communities and stakeholders.
3. Represent Defence on Pan Government stage, engaging with the NCSC to ensure Defence requirements are considered now and in future.
4. Work collaboratively across multiple teams, with line management responsibility for a mixed team of civil servants and contractors.
5. Manage or influence programme spending, contributing to budgets, forecasts, actual expenditures and business cases.
About you:
We are looking for an ambitious, motivated and confident individual, with excellent communication skills. You’ll need to be able to effectively manage dependencies and demonstrate strong stakeholder management abilities. You should be knowledgeable about the life cycle perspective and confident in Agile working and operational management. We are seeking a strategic thinker who can see the bigger picture and align programme objectives with Defence Digital’s goals.
Ideally, you’ll have:
1. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with wide engagement at a range of levels, working collaboratively with internal and external partners on complex projects.
2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and sustain high-performing teams, maintain morale, and foster an inclusive and collaborative environment.
3. Experience of working as a Product Manager, leading a multidisciplinary team in delivering complex digital services.
4. Evidence of successfully leading people and gaining ‘buy-in’ when developing product roadmaps and a long-term product vision, as well as working collaboratively to develop user-centred products and services.
