We are a luxury brand with new and exciting opportunities and products to showcase to our loyal customers. We currently have a rare opportunity for an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our leadership team in Chadstone, Melbourne.
About the Role
Don't miss this rare opportunity to join our Award-winning company as the Assistant Store Manager and experience our luxury French bakery products.
As the Assistant Store Manager, you will be super hands-on (with your team) supporting the Store Manager to lead the team to success. You will thrive in a fast-paced hands-on role supported by a passionate and high performing team who are excited to sell our luxury brand.
Your roster will be flexible with rotation across shifts and working at least one day of the weekend to get to know your entire team. You will ordinarily work an opposite rotation to the Store Manager. Work on some public holidays is also required.
Responsibilities
As Assistant Manager, you will work collaboratively with the Store Manager to ensure the Chadstone store's KPIs are achieved and company objectives. Supporting the Store Manager, you will drive sales week on week to achieve your budgets, control waste while at the same time providing an exceptional customer experience.
What you will bring
* Previous experience as a supervisor or Assistant Manager in a fast-paced hospitality store
* Hands on and with the ability to motivate and train and mentor a team to achieve success
* Deliver and maintain the highest standard in branding with our lovely customers
* Exposure to large customer volumes preferred
* Ability to support the store manager to achieve sales and reduce wages and waste costs
* High personal standards in providing superior customer service
* Maintain a harmonious working environment within the Chadstone team
* Weekend and public holiday work will be required
* Previous experience in hospitality or food & beverage industry is a plus
* Barista skills would be amazing!
