The role of Facilities Accommodation Team Leader is key to accommodation services. The successful candidate will supervise the accommodation service assistants.
The Facilities Accommodation Leader may be required to assist with cleaning tasks during times of low staffing or increased demand. They are also responsible for receiving and delivering cleaning materials to the accommodation facilities, so candidates must be physically fit.
Core Working Hours
Full-time, 37.5 hours, working from 08:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday, which may include bank holidays.
Within your contracted hours, you may be required to cover for other Facilities Team Leaders depending on service requirements.
Enhancements for night-time, bank holiday, and weekend work are offered as part of this role.

The Right Candidate
To be considered for this role, it would be advantageous to have worked in a busy NHS setting or have experience in cleaning or portering. Our preferred candidate would have some previous experience in team leading or supervising staff. A full job description and person specification are attached.

* Experience working with computer systems, including Microsoft Office and various IT packages.
* Experience working with a diverse range of staff.
* Understanding of sickness absence management.
* Good understanding of customer care.
* Effective communication skills.
* Able to undertake duties without supervision.

Knowledge and Experience
* Supervisory experience
* Experience working with computer systems, including knowledge of Microsoft Office and IT packages.

* Previous experience in a similar role providing cleaning services in a healthcare/hospitality environment.
* Experience with national and NHS legislation and guidance relating to cleaning standards and/or food hygiene regulations.
