Job Description
We are looking for a Finance Business Partner for a 6 month FTC to be responsible for building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with key business stakeholders and their teams.
You’ll be supporting the Director of Business Partnering & business functions on financial matters; influencing decision making and improving the understanding of business performance.
You'll be producing and reporting on financial information in a timely and accurate way, delivering high quality insight to effectively support key strategic decisions.
Main Responsibilities:
* Prepare budgets and forecasts considering relevant activity data, cost pressures and business developments and liaise with stakeholders to agree budgetary submissions
* Meet regularly with budget holders to assess financial performance and to provide financial management information, analysis and advice.
* Work closely with the Financial Control team to ensure an accurate and efficient monthly accounting close process
* Produce monthly divisional management accounting results for relevant cost centres ensuring reconciliation to core systems to ensure data Integrity
* Provide business insight to support decision making
* Continuously improve the granularity and accuracy financial reporting to aid the business decision making
* Assess financial impact and identify opportunities for cost saving and process improvement. Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of business strategy.
Occasional:
* Liaise with and assist other staff within Finance to ensure that statutory and audit requirements are met.
* Support the Director of Business Partnering and the wider Finance function with other ad hoc tasks as and when required.

Qualifications
Essential:
* Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) with relevant experience in a multi-divisional global business.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate and influence effectively with senior stakeholders
* Experience of budgeting, planning and forecasting across multiple divisions and currencies.
* Experience in using financial reporting tools such as Oracle
* Experienced In using both Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Well-organised with ability to deal with multiples projects and priorities
* Able to work independently, efficiently and accurately in a time sensitive environment
* Strategic mindset with strong commercial and organisational acumen
Desired:
* Some experience of transactional and procurement processes (AP, Cash)
* Experience of working in a regulatory environment
