What is great about the role? As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will work closely with the business partner and management accountants to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Your responsibilities will include preparing monthly management accounts, analysing variances, supporting budget preparation, and providing guidance to operational teams and budget holders. You will also assist with reconciliations, compliance, and ad-hoc reporting. What skills and experience do you need? To succeed in this role, you should have relevant experience, including the preparation of management accounts, manual reconciliations and treatment of accruals and prepayments. Excellent numeracy and literacy skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel are essential. You must be able to analyse large volumes of data and meet strict accounting deadlines while maintaining accuracy. Knowledge of IT systems and an AAT/ Part Qualified Professional Qualification are essential qualifications for this position.
