The Role
As an experienced professional in sales and business development, you’ll be quick to adapt to new situations and bring your knowledge and experience to join our highly talented and passionate cloud transformation team. You’ll be at the forefront of some of the most exciting, complex and leading-edge sales opportunities.
At KPMG, your role is key in delivering our growth strategy and responsible for selling the full portfolio of Cloud solutions to clients across markets. The BDM role involves:
1. Secure and foster relationships with CIO-level clients to uncover cloud transformation opportunities.
2. Build relationships and be a trusted advisor to our clients with respect to KPMG’s Cloud Transformation propositions.
3. Driving collaboration with consulting teams to help qualify opportunities and lead and manage pursuits, especially around our implementation services.
4. Work with our consulting teams to define market-leading, client-focused Cloud propositions.
5. Maintain regular communication with the wider business development team and ensure targets are delivered.
6. Working with pre-sales technologists to help clients shape compelling technology solutions with cloud.
The Person:
1. Collaborative and client-focused, you enjoy helping clients shape their technology needs and work constructively with peers and colleagues in multi-disciplinary sales pursuits.
2. You care about the teams around you and help them increase their skills around sales processes, especially where they may come from deep technology backgrounds.
3. Possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience managing large and complex clients.
4. Successful track record and experience in selling high-end, project-based, professional consulting services with the ability to gain access and influence decision-makers at all levels in client organizations.
5. A good understanding of cloud services, architectures, challenges, and benefits along with industry awareness of key methodologies, approaches, and market trends.
6. Experience crafting and executing strategic and tactical plans to close large revenue opportunities.
7. Passionate about investing time in the market building relationships with clients.
8. Able to execute disciplined sales processes.
9. Good stakeholder management and excel at negotiations.
10. Excellent ability to work on own initiative and be a strong team player.
11. Experience of public, private, and/or hybrid cloud solutions.
