We are hiring immediately for a Sales Consultant - Data Center — a role that will help us power progress for our customers.
Purpose of the Job
The Data Center Sales Specialist is a key role in Aggreko. You will manage and grow your account portfolio, target and win back lapsed customers, and prospect new clients with a focus on growth and profitability. Strong people skills, tenacity, and professionalism are essential.
The role involves working with the Sales Manager to implement the data center strategy for your market to meet set targets.
Responsibilities include:
* Targeting, developing, and acquiring customers within your sales plan.
* Motivated to meet and exceed revenue and sales KPIs.
* Presenting new products to existing and potential customers, developing value propositions and pricing strategies.
* Submitting market analysis reports on competitors, opportunities, and trends.
* Preparing and negotiating proposals and contracts.
* Maintaining effective relationships with customers and colleagues.
* Following Aggreko’s sales processes and CRM/CPQ protocols.
* Completing minimum sales activities and compliance requirements.
* Monitoring legislative impacts on key accounts.
* Proposing fleet and service developments to meet customer and legislative needs.
* Troubleshooting at customer sites as needed.
Key Performance Indicators:
* Achieving annual sales targets.
* Growing territory and sector revenue.
* Developing new customers.
* Adhering to sales processes and CRM/CPQ protocols.
Qualifications and Experience:
* 7–10 years of sales/business development experience in the Data Center sector, preferably with equipment sales or rentals, solution selling.
* Knowledge of local market regulations and policies.
* Engineering degree or equivalent, preferably in electrical/mechanical engineering.
* Experience managing key accounts, ideally in Malaysia.
* Technical sales expertise with a strong sales record.
* Results-driven, creative thinker, excellent interpersonal skills.
* High commitment and motivation for success.
