My client is a UK leading, tier 1 construction, infrastructure, engineering, and fit-out contractor operating across the UK. They deliver projects across a range of sectors including healthcare, education, leisure, highways, and utilities.
They are recruiting for a Bid Manager to join their team and work on Health & Education Projects across the North West.
Responsibilities:
1. Timely and budget-conscious submission of completed bids to existing or potential customers, ensuring comprehensive answers to all queries.
2. Planning and overseeing all bid-related activities, offering subject matter expertise as needed.
3. Providing effective and inspiring bid management and leadership, particularly for larger tender opportunities.
4. Formulating winning strategies and writing plans for quality-driven bids.
5. Actively engaging in red reviews of prequalification documents and tenders.
6. Developing and managing bid/proposal plans, outlines, and schedules to streamline the bidding process.
7. Providing guidance to bid team writers in crafting technical and cost components of proposals, comprehensively covering task understanding, planning, past performance, and personnel considerations.
8. Conducting thorough reviews of proposal versions, from draft to final, ensuring responsiveness, accuracy, staffing adequacy, financial viability, quality, and effective design and layout.
9. Crafting corporate concepts and boilerplate content for future use in proposals.
10. Ensuring consistent and effective implementation of work-winning processes, while proactively suggesting improvements when warranted.
