The school I am recruiting for is looking for a part-time (2/3 days) French Teacher who can teach French at KS3, KS4, and KS5 levels. The successful candidate should be passionate about educating students and encourage them to explore their passions. You must hold Qualified Teaching Status and be able to challenge classroom behaviours. For the right candidate, this role will commence in January until the end of the academic year (July), and potentially could be made permanent.
The school is located in Coalville and the role will start in January. Their curriculum is designed to ensure that pupils have a rewarding and enjoyable experience at school and prepares them for future opportunities. The school focuses on developing individual talent by supporting students and offering a wide range of exciting extra-curricular opportunities.
As a French teacher, the school will expect the following:
1. Teach French at KS3, KS4 & KS5 level.
2. Have a detailed knowledge of the curriculum.
3. Maintain high standards of communication and the ability to work as a team.
4. Assess, mark, and plan lessons.
5. Assess achievements of pupils.
6. Provide progress reports and attend parent's evenings & department meetings.
