We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a New Talent Coordinator, where you’ll work closely with New Talent Programme Managers to coordinate and support activities that help us achieve our talent attraction, selection, development, and inclusion strategy of graduates and apprentices. Everything You Need to Know You’ll be responsible for supporting apprentices and graduates across our region, who are enrolled in a 2-3 year programme. This position requires regular travel to various sites and colleges, with occasional overnight stays in hotels. You will be the primary point of contact for apprentices, managers, and training providers, addressing any queries they may have and handling safeguarding issues to ensure their well-being and success throughout the programme. You’ll create and maintain our calendar of events, team reports, and shared documents, and organise and host key activities for our programmes, including pre-joiner events, induction week, skills development sessions, and celebration events. Part of your responsibilities will include liaising with training providers, monitoring their performance, and taking necessary actions as required. You will design and deliver our annual induction and programme activities, support the design and coordination of training materials, and facilitate placement rotations. Read On Some of your key accountabilities will include: Managing hotel bookings for apprentices on residential courses and handling invoice management. Analysing engagement data and insights from our apprentices and graduates to identify areas of strength and opportunities for improvement. Supporting the onboarding activities of new providers and apprentices. What You’ll Bring to the Role We’re looking for a dynamic and motivated individual, who has a real passion for creating and supporting exciting career and work experience opportunities. You’ll hold experience in an office environment, particularly within customer service, and bring experience in early careers or learning and development. An understanding of the education sector, apprenticeships, or T-Levels would be beneficial, with proficiency in using Office 365 tools, preparing presentations, and conducting data analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational and time management skills, and the ability to deliver presentations and facilitate large groups confidently, both online and in person. You’ll be able to build credible relationships with internal and external stakeholders, effectively plan and coordinate activities, and approach queries with positivity and empathy. A natural curiosity, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with pace across multiple priorities are essential. The role requires flexibility to work outside normal hours and the ability to travel for events. Candidates must successfully complete compliance checks for working with young children and vulnerable students, and be willing to support the company’s safeguarding measures.
