You are experienced in financial management systems and have a strong track record of interpreting property-related data and billing information. You must be able to work independently as well as part of a team, and have a proactive approach to self-improvement and development. A full clean driving license is desirable for site visits across the city. What the Job Involves As a Surveying Technician at the Plymouth City Council, you will be responsible for providing technical services in the day-to-day management of the Council’s property portfolio. You will manage data on Tech Forge Cloud, ensure accurate rental billing, and oversee statutory compliance of Energy Performance Certificates. Your role involves the inspection, measurement, and legal review of properties, ensuring compliance with lease terms and health and safety regulations. You will also manage vacant properties, coordinate temporary occupational licenses, produce performance reports, and assist senior staff in corporate and commercial property issues. Streamlining internal processes to maximize Case Officer time is also a key focus.
