Figtree Early Learning Centre is a purpose-built centre with a focus on supporting the needs of the community. We are currently seeking a part-time support worker to assist with cleaning and food preparation for children aged 0-6. We are looking for individuals who will complement our already great team and will bring energy and a positive attitude to the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Comply with the policies and procedures of St. Anthony’s Family Care.
* Carry out tasks as directed by the Manager or Team Leaders. Tasks may include, but are not limited to:
o General cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, washing children’s equipment and resources, sterilising toys, etc.
o Food preparation, including heating meals, cutting fruit, etc.
o Keeping facilities clean and presentable, including kitchen, bathrooms, laundry, and children’s rooms.
o Unpacking supplies and restocking consumables.
* Be aware of and comply with Workplace Health and Safety Regulations.
* Any other duties as specified by the Manager or Team Leaders.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Previous experience in food preparation and cleaning preferred, but not essential.
* Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
* Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
* A positive attitude and a willingness to work independently as well as part of a team.
