Role Description

As an Account Handler in our Financial Lines (Emerging Markets) team, you will act as a liaison between clients, producing brokers and placing brokers to ensure new business, renewal and midterm requirements are fully understood and best met through the provision of suitable cover, appropriate pricing and efficient servicing.
Howden's Financial Lines (Emerging Markets) team specializes in advising and arranging insurance solutions for clients to protect against financial and professional liabilities such as Directors & Officers (D&O) liability, Professional Indemnity, and Cyber risks.
You'll get a lot of exposure to the various elements that make up our team as well as the wider Financial Lines division, and we provide full training for our new starters.
What you'll do
This role entails, but is not limited to:
* Supporting the team in managing policy renewals and endorsements, including preparation of necessary documentation.
* Assisting in the analysis of client data, claims history, and risk assessments to provide insight for policy recommendations.
* Working closely with brokers, underwriters, and other team members to facilitate client transactions and ensure timely delivery of services.
* Taking responsibility for data entry, credit control and chasing policy subjectivities where required
This is a starter role with full training and continuous development provided. You don't need prior insurance knowledge!
