The Waltham Forest Women's Health Hub is seeking an experienced Sexual and Reproductive Health Consultant to provide general reproductive health integrated clinics for gynaecology referrals in a multidisciplinary setting in the community. This role will involve providing supervision and training to other clinical staff working within the Women's Health Hub.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Sexual and Reproductive Health Consultant to help deliver and shape the future of women's health services within the NHS. If you are passionate about improving healthcare outcomes for women and have sexual and reproductive health experience including provision of complex contraception, ultrasound and genital dermatosis, we would love to hear from you.
Main Duties of the Job
* Provide general reproductive health integrated clinics for gynaecology referrals.
* Supervise and train clinical staff within the Women's Health Hub.
* Deliver and shape women's health services within the NHS.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Full General Medical Council (GMC) registration with a license to practice.
* DFSRH (not required if has MFSRH).
* Dip GUM GCP.
* Faculty Registered Trainer.
* Eligible to work in the UK.
Language Skills
* Demonstrable skills in written and spoken English that are adequate to enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues.
Experience
* Experience of working in an integrated sexual health service.
* Experience of safeguarding adults and children procedures and management.
* Experience of providing services to young people including under 16s.
* Experience of provision of complex contraception.
* Experience of working in multi-ethnic & multicultural communities.
* Experience in teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
* Experience of conducting research in the field of sexual health/HIV.
Skills
* Ability to develop good working relationships.
* Good organisational skills.
* Good teaching skills.
Knowledge
* Ability to provide level 1-2 STI management including genital dermatoses.
Commitment to Clinical Governance / Improving Quality of Patient Care
* Understanding of the clinical governance process and a track record of engaging in clinical governance.
* Evidence of leading quality improvement.
* Experience leading the clinical audit process and an understanding of its aims.
* Evidence of interest and experience in teaching all members of the MDT.

£105,504 to £139,882 a year per annum pro rata.
