Hourly pay rate:
£14.50 - £29.00 per hour. Mileage paid for travel to work paid @ 40p per mile. (With an upper limit). Half an hour travel time paid per shift.
We are looking for energetic and active individuals to support our client who is a 11 year old boy with Cerebral Palsy.Our client is a happy bright young boy who lives at home with his family in a fully adapted house. We are looking for support workers to work alongside him whilst he learns to gain some independence, confidence and help to provide opportunities to express himself. He has both physical and communication difficulties which impact on his daily life and therefore we are looking for care support for all aspects of daily living, including personal care, therapy and medication. He has a great sense of humour and a cheeky nature so we are looking for someone fun and creative who can help him get into mischief!
During the week our client goes to school so requires support in the afternoon and evenings. At the weekends and during school holidays our client loves to go out in the community which will be a key part of your role and therefore driving his adapted vehicle is highly desirable but not essential.
Our client currently has a small team of support workers so we are looking to welcome more to the team and provide double up care for outings.
SHIFTS AVAILABLE:
Term time:
Monday 3.30pm to 9pm
Tuesday 3.30pm to 9pm
Wednesday 3.30pm to 9pm
Thursday 3.30pm to 9pm
Friday 3.30pm to 9pm
Saturdays 10am to 6pm (double up care)
School holidays:
Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm (with double up days)
The above hours are all of the shifts available, it is not mandatory for someone to cover every shift. Full time and part time roles available. We are happy to be flexible to accommodate your availability.

Duties include:

Previous care experience / school based experience and /or therapy background working with children is desirable.
Car Driver with clean UK licence highly desirable.
