The Role
This is an exciting time of growth for us, and we are hiring a Data Protection Analyst to help us continue this success. This is a great opportunity to develop a varied and rewarding career with a company that invests in, recognises and rewards its people.
Reporting to the Cyber Security Lead you’ll inform and advise the organisation and it’s employees of their data protection obligations and impacts of any proposed changes. You’ll be the point of contact for data subjects on privacy matters and will organise and maintain GDPR documentation.
On occasion you will need to travel to our Ireland office and to key partners.
You will also:
Develop reports and monitor compliance with relevant data protection laws and company policies
Carry out training and activities to raise awareness across PCL
Assist with regular audits to ensure compliance and advise on remediation and potential issues
Monitor, maintain and review records of all data processing activities, providing advice and monitoring high risk processing.
Assist with data breach response and notification procedures
Work with Cyber Security Analyst to assist with incidents and maintain the security posture.

To be successful as our Data Protection Analyst, you’ll have experience within a similar role. You’ll have demonstrable experience of reading regulations and assessing the business impact along with knowledge of current Data Protection legislation.
You’ll have an understanding of business and regulatory issues
The ability to communicate effectively at all levels, including Senior Management
Able to work on your own initiative, able to make things happen and influence, educate and advise
Prioritisation skills
High level of attention to details.
