So as you can see, exciting times ahead Trafford Leisure is currently looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Greenkeeper with the relevant qualifications and experience to become part of our greenkeeping team at Altrincham Golf Course & Driving Range, to maintain and develop both the golf course and the driving range to the highest standards. Altrincham Golf Course is a popular 18 hole parkland golf course and 24 bay Driving Range situated in South Manchester, and provides a challenging test of golf to both members and general public. The Role As one of our Greenkeepers, you’ll need to have an eye for detail, be driven, whilst delivering high standards. Reporting to the Head Greenkeeper and General Manager you will be able to organise golf course maintenance and present the golf course in accordance with the rules of golf, be able to follow aeration and feeding programmes, have knowledge of machinery maintenance, and working within Health and safety legislation guidelines. Qualifications & Experience Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Greenkeeping Desirable NVQ Level 3 in Greenkeeping Minimum of 1 years golf course maintenance experience Desirable PA1, PA2 Spraying Certificates Chainsaw qualifications desirable Mechanical knowledge and ability to operate a wide range of machinery Knowledge of irrigation systems Location: Your location will be ALTRINCHAM GOLF COURSE Hours: 38 per week What You Can Expect From Us Our business is led by a small, passionate and professional group of individuals.
