Kudos is a well established Facilities Management company working within the Healthcare Sector to deliver a high-quality Facilities Management service to its client, and is looking to hire a Strategic Projects & Lifecycle Manager to join the team on a full-time basis.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of PFI/PPP contractual frameworks and obligations, 5+ years of proven experience in delivering Hard FM services, ideally within the healthcare sector, be able to demonstrate experience managing commercial challenges, including unavailability claims, latent defects, and pay mechanisms & experience in Commercial contracts including JCT and NEC Contracts. You will possess a depth of understanding of CDM with the ability to implement appropriate checks and balances ensuring adherence to obligations.
The Role
You will report to the SLT & will have a hands-on role in planning and delivering projects across 35 NHS LIFT sites in the Warrington and London Areas, in line with industry standard, managing the supply chain to deliver this and ensuring that the annual and 5 yearly planning of the Schedule of Programmed Works (SoPM) is contractually compliant and fit for purpose.
Building and maintaining relationships will be important to you, as you will be a key member of the team, regularly interfacing with the Kudos operational team and wider stakeholders, acting as subject matter expert for any project related issues or queries.
Duties & Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Lifecycle Planning: You will develop and oversee annual and future lifecycle programs, focusing on the strategic alignment of facilities maintenance and enhancements to meet future needs.
* Major Project Variations: You will have overall responsibility for taking major variations projects from conception through tendering and delivery to completion against time and budget. Liaising with all stakeholders, ensuring financials, contracts, quality, and governance are well managed throughout. Providing streamlined hand over and hand back to the operational teams, ensuring they are fully engaged at every stage.
* Project Oversight: Manage all aspects of project delivery from planning to completion, working with the Operations Team to ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.
* Supply Chain Management: Build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers and contractors, ensuring cost-effective procurement and compliance with all contractual terms. Conduct regular reviews to drive efficiencies and value for money.
* Data and Asset Management: Work in conjunction with the CAFM Team to ensure that all facility data, including asset information and warranty details, are accurately maintained and regularly updated.
* Financial Management: Manage project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and effective cost recovery for all rechargeable works.
