Structural Engineer Responsibilities:
1. The team are currently engaged in large regeneration schemes predominately constructed from reinforced concrete, smaller residential schemes using traditional building techniques and a variety of commercial, educational and maritime projects utilising a range of different materials and construction techniques.
2. Undertake detailed structural engineering design on retail / commercial projects.
3. Prepare technical schedules, reports and designs at a variety of project work stages.
4. Represent the company at meetings with clients, suppliers and other 3rd parties.
5. Ensure an excellent level of service is delivered consistently, design decisions are met, and project work is carried out within the agreed deadlines and budgets.
6. Excellent knowledge and understanding of structural design using a variety of building materials including traditional build, steel frame, reinforced concrete and timber frames, ideally working with significant structures.
7. Proficient in Tekla or alternative building modelling software.
