Credit Controller / Accounts Administrator
Full Time: 9am - 5pm (Office Based) - Free, onsite parking available
Salary - up to £25,000
Duties:
1. Process and allocate receipts for Bacs & Cheques
2. Take payments over the phone & process card payments on the PDQ machine and on the in-house system (shortly we will be switching to on-line payments)
3. Reconcile unallocated cash
4. Credit check new applications & requests for credit limit increases using Experian / Top Service
5. Open new accounts
6. Chase overdue accounts by telephone/email (Currently approximately 500-600 per month per person)
7. Answer incoming calls from Branches & Customers
8. Update and maintain notes on the system when a customer or branch calls
9. Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity
10. Ensure debts are paid in-line with the credit control collection timetable
11. Monitor Credit Control mailbox
12. Change addresses, telephone & and account settings when required...
