JOB DESCRIPTION I am seeking a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of my SEN schools team to contribute to their mission of empowering every student to succeed. Start Date: Immediate Note: This position is initially through Teaching Personnel, with the aim of transitioning to a direct school contract. Job Description: As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide essential support to children with special educational needs within our school's SEN provision. Work closely with the SENCO and class teachers to implement individualised learning plans and interventions. Assist students with academic tasks and social interaction, as required. Collaborate with external agencies, parents, and fellow staff members to ensure the holistic development and inclusion of SEN students. Requirements: Proven experience working in a SEN provision within a school setting is essential. Strong understanding of various SEN needs and strategies for supporting students with diverse needs. Must have a valid DBS check on the update service or be willing to undergo a new one. Compassionate, patient, and adaptable, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
