Progression Coach We have a new role available for a Night Concierge to join Depaul UK to ensure that every client leaves a Depaul service with the skills and resilience to be confident and self-determining in their lives. Position: Night Concierge Location: Wallsend, North Tyne Side Contract : Full-time Hours: 37.5 hours per week Salary: £23,400 Per Annum Plus Pension and Other Benefits Closing Date: Sunday 9th February 2025. About the Role Maritime Court provides supported housing and is delivered in partnership with Karbon Homes (Landlord) and Depaul (Support Providers). The project forms part of the North Tyneside Pathway and it is designed to support clients (16-24 year olds) who are at risk of homelessness within North Tyneside. The service users are supported to take more and more responsibility for their affairs and assess the most appropriate move-on housing for them. We are currently looking for a dedicated Night Concierge with clear understanding of Safeguarding to work at our accommodation service in Islington, ensuring the building is safe and secure through security and door control. You will work as a full time (37.5 hours per week), permanent staff. As Night Concierge, you will be responsible for: Ensuring the security of the building through regular checks, and monitoring CCTV where it applies Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of clients in the service at all times possible including using Safeguarding and emergency alert procedures as applicable Act as the first point of contact for visitors, contractors or services visiting the building at night Keeping records of all work, activities and entries to and from the building whilst you are on shift Please note that you will be required to relate with young adults during the course of your work so, your experience in Safeguarding will be an added advantage in order to be considered for this role. Experience of managing the overnight safety of vulnerable clients preferably in supported housing Good written and spoken communication skills to ensure the accurate handover of information both verbally and in writing between shifts.
