Description About the role: We have a great opportunity for a Contract Manager to join our Procurement team in Birmingham. As a Contract Manager you will be responsible for managing all framework agreements that fall under Government's public procurement organisation (CCS) and for any subcontracts under which Gowling procures delivery of those services. In addition to this you will be a single point of contact in the firm for support in relation to framework call-off templates and schedules, contract clauses and any specific queries in relation to the framework agreements. About you: We are looking for someone who has significant experience managing Government contracts and procurement frameworks demonstrating excellent awareness and understanding of government framework agreements and government procurement processes. In this role, you will leverage your excellent organisational skills, naturally planning and self-organising to meet objectives and targets successfully. Your work approach will be adaptable, embracing change and operating effectively across diverse situations while striving for improvement and forward-thinking. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are crucial for this position, ensuring effective collaboration with colleagues and external entities. You will also need the confidence to lead and engage in stakeholder contract performance discussions with government clients, both internally and externally. Knowledge & Qualifications: Educated to Degree Level or have relevant management experience. CIPS qualified or equivalent degree/diploma in a relevant subject. Knowledge of English Contract Law, and Government procurement regulations.
