Overview: Reporting to the Digital Performance Lead and based in our Manchester office (with hybrid working), this role will work closely with both our Digital Performance and Brand Marketing teams, supporting the delivery of integrated digital marketing activity across paid media, email, social media, and UX journeys. This apprenticeship offers a rare opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of marketing channels while working alongside experienced teams across four leading ecommerce brands – Hope Education, GLS Education, Davies Sports, and Philip Harris – plus our teacher content platform EuHu. You’ll support the collaboration between Brand Marketing and Digital Performance to deliver best-in-class campaigns that drive commercial and customer impact.We’ll support your learning through real-world projects, mentorship, and exposure to the latest marketing tools and platforms. You’ll be encouraged to ask questions, bring ideas, and grow your confidence as a marketer, and we’ll even throw in trips to Google Dublin HQ to work with our Google Ads support team. Responsibilities: Support the setup and optimisation of campaigns across Google Ads & Microsoft Ads, YouTube Ads and paid social platforms Learn how to write, test and evaluate ad copy across Google and Microsoft PPC campaign Help build and maintain performance dashboards and reports using Google Sheets and Looker Studio Assist with day-to-day campaign checks, tracking performance and identifying areas for improvement Support the Brand and Digital teams in delivering integrated digital marketing campaigns across paid search, YouTube, email and social media channels Help manage our product data feeds using Feedonomics and Google Merchant Centre and learn how feed quality impacts shopping ad performance Collaborate with the SEO team to update content and improve on-page optimisation Assist with content and creative testing, including reviewing ad copy, image and video ad adverts and analyse their performance Desirable skills: A passion for marketing, digital, and creativity with an eagerness to learn and grow Strong written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail and a curiosity to ask “why” and “how” things work Good numeracy and good Excel or Google Sheets knowledge Embraces AI and large language models like ChatGPT and Gemini A self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude and willingness to try new things No prior experience is required—but any exposure to Google Ads, social media platforms, or content creation is a bonus Entry requirements: 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4 (A-C) in any subject GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3 (D or above) Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme. If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
