TA3 qualified or apprenticeship
To develop our support at a specialist level to children in class or with an education, health and care plan (EHCP) in our schools, we have created a team of Learning Support Assistants to work in our primary and secondary schools. There are around 20 colleagues currently working in this team.
If you are already qualified at Level 3 or looking to develop your career further through a Level 3 TA apprenticeship - this is a great opportunity for you!
You will work in school to provide specialist support to children with an education, health and care plan across a range of needs; including working to support students’ emotional regulation and mental health and delivering specialist interventions.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for colleagues who are passionate about supporting learning and building positive relationships with children with a range of needs and have or are looking to develop thespecialistqualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities and experience to do so.
What we can offer you:
As part of this team, you will be initially and predominantly based in one school to support children, however there will be opportunities to work across schools or with different children.
The team provides a clear network for support, growth and development. This team will work closely with the class teachers, SENCo and teams in school as well as the trust’s SEND Director.
Working as a TA in school means you can support children to learn and develop; but also provides excellent career opportunities in Teaching Assistant as well as experience to apply for teacher training opportunities across the Trust.
