Job Purpose: The Legal Assistant will provide essential support to our legal teams across different departments, assisting with legal research, document drafting, compliance, onboarding, and general administrative tasks. The role requires strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the firm’s legal services and client interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Legal Research: Assist solicitors and legal teams with conducting legal research on various topics related to the firm’s practice areas
* Document Drafting: Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents, including contracts, agreements, letters, and reports
* Client Onboarding: Assist with onboarding new clients by preparing relevant documentation, completing client information forms, and ensuring compliance with firm procedures
* Compliance Support: Support the team in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies. Assist in maintaining and updating compliance records
* Documentation Management: Manage and organise client files and legal documents in accordance with firm procedures and data protection regulations
* General Administrative Tasks: Provide administrative support, including managing communications, scheduling meetings, and maintaining records for various departments
* Ad Hoc Tasks: Support the legal teams with any additional tasks as required, such as attending to client queries, managing case management systems, and helping with departmental projects

As a Paralegal Apprentice with BPP, you will complete the Paralegal Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship. Additional learning within the apprenticeship will enable you to be awarded a Level 4 Certificate of Higher Education in Legal Services which can afford you exemptions from the first two years of the Level 7 Solicitor Apprenticeship.
Your Level 4 apprenticeship shall be delivered by a blend of online and face-to-face training from and on-the-job learning.

GCSE in:
