Accounts Assistant Day-to-day of the role: Assist with the preparation of financial documents such as invoices, bills, and accounts payable and receivable. Complete purchase orders and manage payroll functions. Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports. Manage company ledgers and handle client queries. Coordinate internal and external audits. Verify balances in account books and rectify discrepancies. Accounts Assistant Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar role, ideally within the construction sector. Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles. Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel; familiarity with finance software (e.g., QuickBooks). High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent organisational and multitasking skills. Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
